YOUR HEADSHOT

Casting Directors, Producers and Directors will decide if they want you to come-in for an interview or audition, just by reviewing your headshot.

Note:  Ninety-five percent (95%) of actors and actresses DO NOT have the proper Headshot and will not be called-in for the audition.  They will never get booked!

• >  Is it best to wear the make-up or shoot the picture without make-up?

• >  Should I smile on my Headshot or look serious?  Which is appropriate?

• >  Is it okay to place my fingers to my face or hand under my chin on my Headshot?

If an Actor or Actress is invited to a PROFESSIONAL audition, whether there is one, two, three, four or even five people in the room, all eyes will be on you the moment you walk into the room. 

FIRST they will look to see how professional you are and there is ONE thing you will DO or NOT DO that will determine that.  Remember, they are looking for professionals; performers that will represent them well on the set or stage and will not hold-up a film or television crew or theatrical production crew.

(Again, there is so much more - learn every technique; it's the difference in getting booked for the job or not.  It's always smart to place yourself a step-ahead of the competition.)

On any professional production, there will almost always be a "Table Read."  There are certain things an Actor or Actress SHOULD and SHOULD NOT do during this time. 

NOTE:  Even though you have been booked for the job by following everything you have learned at this seminar/workshop, you can still be re-placed by another performer simply by getting on the set or to the table read and not knowing the professional standards.
